In this statue, Lord Vishnu is flanked on either side by Bhudevi and Sridevi, the consorts of Lord Venkateswara (Lord Sri Venkateswara). She takes on the characteristics of Mother Earth in Bhudevi, her fruitful form. Sridevi, a symbol of Her richness and knowledge, is Narayan. Sridevi and Bhudevi, Lord Vishnu's consorts, are to his right and left respectively.’
