Shiva is shown in this brass sculpture. He is the third member of the Hindu Trinity, which also includes Mahesh/Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma, the Creator (Destroyer). He is seen sitting with his eyes closed and raising his right hand in benediction. His snake is draped over his neck, and his weapon, a trident, is positioned behind him. The top of his hair appears to be the Ganga River. This is a need for all Shiva worshipers.
